BY PLANE:
Cuenca has a local airport called "Mariscal Lamar" where airlines TAME, LAN and AeroGal connect daily with flights to the cities of Quito and Guayaquil ($ 100 one way, 1 hour, $ 150 round trip). The city center is around 3Km from the airport and a taxi from or to the airport costs $ 3, all taxis must use a meter. The airport is 500 meters from the bus terminal on the same Avenida España, where you can take buses to the main cities of the country.
BY BUS:
Cuenca has two bus terminals, the southern terminal that serves the neighboring cities of Jima, Jirón and Cajas National Park; and the main bus terminal that serves the main cities of the country located on Avenida España, 2km from the city center and 500 meters from the airport.

Towards Chiclayo, the company Super Temería leaves at 22:00 from Cuenca to Chiclayo with stops in Machala, Tumbes, Mancora and Piura. It has WiFi and the value is $ 18 and can take up to 16 hours depending on the time at the border controls.
MOVING WITHIN CUENCA:
